EMPAT (AIHA)

Applied Microbiological Services takes part in the quarterly proficiency testing offered by the American Industrial Hygiene Association. This AIHA program entails blind samples (unidentified organisms) being sent to AMS once every three months.

Unknown organisms are cultured, bio-chemically analyzed, observed, and identified, as part of this Environmental Microbiology Analytical Proficiency Testing (EMPAT) program. Each Laboratory is given a number, our AMS EMPAT number is 167381.
